THE SPARE TIRE FELL OFF MY GMC SONOMA WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. THE CABLE IN THE SPARE TIRE HOIST RUSTED INTO.
I WAS SITTING WITH MY SON ON THE TAILGATE OF MY GMC SONOMA AND BOTH TAILGATE CABLES BROKE CAUSING US TO FALL TO THE GROUND. I BRUISED MY BACK BUT DID NOT SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS TO GMC, I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A RECALL BUT THEY HAVE NEVER CONTACTED ME SINCE THE DATE OF THE INCIDENT. *AK
