WHILE WEARING A LONDON FOG STYLE OVERCOAT, I (7 TIMES IN AS MANY YEARS) ENTERED THE VEHICLE TO DRIVE. I FASTENED THE SEAT BELT, STARTED THE VEHICLE, SHIFTED TO REVERSE AND SAT BACK (SAME MOTION), AND THE LOOP ON THE OVERCOAT SNAGGED THE DOOR HANDLE AND OPENED THE DOOR WHILE I WAS BACKING UP. UNFORTUNATELY, MY DRIVEWAY DICTATES THAT I BACK UP TO THE RIGHT SIDE. THE WEIGHT OF THE OPENING DOOR LITERALLY ATTEMPTS TO PULL YOU OUT OF THE SEAT. I REPORTED THIS TO DEALER AND THEY LAUGHED AND TOLD ME NOT TO WEAR A LONDON FOG STYLE OVERCOAT WHEN I DRIVE. I TELEPHONED THE GM "HOTLINE" AND A YOUNG LADY SUGGESTED IF I DIDN'T LIKE GM TO BUY ANOTHER BRAND. GREAT. THE 4 DR JIMMY IS MY WIFE'S VEHICLE AND THE CHEVY CARS/TRUCKS I HAVE BEEN BUYING SINCE 1969 - I TOOK HER ADVICE AND BOUGHT A '99...
