2006 GMC XUV HAS A TAILGATE PROBLEM WITH NOT OPENING WITH ELECTRIC OPENER. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THERE IS NO EMERGENCY WAY TO OPEN THE TAILGATE SINCE THE LATCHES ONLY OPERATE WITH ELECTRICITY (SWITCHES). WEATHER IS THE MAIN FAULT POOR ENGINEERING LETS PARTS GET WET INSIDE THE DOOR FRAME AND DESTROYS THE LATCHES AND ELECTRONICS STORED INSIDE. *TR
