2015 GMC CANYON Fuelpropulsion System Problems

I own a 2015 GMC Canyon that developed repeated and serious fuel-system and engine problems beginning around 56,000 miles. The vehicle experienced fuel contamination (water in the fuel system), multiple fuel injectors failing and sticking open, repeated misfires across several cylinders, and engine stalling/shutdown while driving. The truck was towed multiple times and repaired repeatedly by an authorized GMC dealership. Repairs included injector replacements, fuel pipe replacement, fuel-system cleaning, and related work. Technician notes show that broader repairs were recommended but not fully authorized, and the same problems continued to return. Despite the dealership later stating the vehicle was repaired, there is no written safety certification, no documented fuel-system integrity testing, and no GM engineering clearance confirming the vehicle is safe to operate. Stabiltrak system stops working randomly all the time. It is seemingly random. It can do it as soon as I crank the truck, but more commonly it happens when I am driving. The ABS also will cause the truck to pull harder in one direction either left or right randomly. I have to put pressure on the steering will in the opposite direction to keep the vehicle in the middle of the lane. Stabiltrak sensor 1st went off around October 2023. It typically doesn't come back on immediately if I power cycle the truck. No accident to report yet but when the power steering does no work while I'm driving, it is extremely hard to turn.

WHEN DRIVING THE CAR GET HARD TO STEERING SIDE TO SIDE AND A WAINING LIGHT FOR SERVICE COME ON. TRY TO GET SERVICE BUT WHEN THE CAR IS TURN OFF LIGHT COME OFF AND CAN'T BE DETECTED BY THE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. THE FUEL SYSTEM I CHANGE 3 NEW FUEL CAP AND STILL SHOW TIDE YOU CAP OR THE ENGINE SIGN

MY 215 EXTENDED CAB, LONG BED GMC CANYON SLT HAS 13,000 MILES AND NO ACCIDENTS OR HARD DRIVING (ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY DRIVEN ON THE ROAD) WITH SOME SHORT HAULING OF LOADS LOCALLY (1500 LBS OR LESS). NO MAJOR WORK HAS BEEN DONE TO THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION. TODAY (9 OCT 17), I WAS TAKING A SHORT DRIVE TO HOME DEPOT FROM MY HOUSE (~6 MI), ALMOST IMMEDIATELY I BEGAN TO SMELL A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE (TRAVELLED HALF A BLOCK)...I HAD JUST DRIVEN THE TRUCK ON FRIDAY TO WORK AND SMELLED NO ODOR, SO I THOUGHT IT MUST BE A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. BUT THE ODOR PERSISTED AND WAS WORST WAITING AT STOPLIGHTS. I SMELLED GAS AGAIN ON THE WAY BACK HOME AND NEW IT MUST BE MY TRUCK. THE TRUCK FALLS ON IT'S FACE WHEN ACCELERATING AFTER SLOWING DOWN. THE DEALERSHIP SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION. I HAVE TALKED WITH OTHER CANYON OWNERS AND THEY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
