While driving at highway speed, the vehicle experienced a sustained loss of motive power. Despite the accelerator pedal being fully depressed, the vehicle would not accelerate beyond approximately 62 mph. Based on the symptoms and prior service history, the malfunction appears related to the fuel/propulsion system, engine, or powertrain. The vehicle is currently parked and available for inspection upon request. This failure placed the safety of the occupants and other motorists at risk. The vehicle was unable to safely accelerate, merge, pass, or respond to traffic conditions. Hazard lights were activated, and the vehicle was forced to remain in the slow lane of the highway for an extended period to avoid being struck by faster-moving traffic. The problem was reproducible and occurred repeatedly during the same trip. Acceleration was tested multiple times, and each attempt resulted in the same loss of power with no response to throttle input. The condition...

The fuel delivery system, specifically the fuel pump and fuel rail pressure system, has malfunctioned and continues to trigger diagnostic trouble code P0191 (fuel rail pressure sensor range/performance), despite a prior recall-related software update performed by the dealer, and the vehicle and all affected components are available for inspection upon request. While driving on the highway, the vehicle suddenly began stalling, hesitating, and hard jerking before losing power and entering limp mode, limiting speed to under 50 mph and forcing me to immediately pull over, which created a serious safety risk to myself and other drivers due to the sudden inability to maintain highway speeds. The issue has been confirmed by an authorized dealer through repeated diagnostic scans showing the same fuel system fault codes, and the dealer has determined the fuel pump now requires replacement, indicating the recall update did not resolve the underlying failure. The vehicle has been...

I was driving on major highway around 66.mph and the car lost acceleration and dropped to 45.mph quickly and It wouldn't accelerate when I hit gas pedal. I was almost rearended om highway because of this. I quickly pulled onto shoulder. Car is currently under manufacturer warranty and being assessed by dealership. It did generate a code P0190 upon scan. However, dealership cannot get it to replicate at this time. Pending information from dealership. My car did.not fall under first recall for fuel.pump issue but it should now. See code below.

The car randomly goes into LIMP mode when driving in every condition going at any speed, the car has a significant loss of power and needs to be restarted to gain power back. I have almost crashed because of this problem numerous times. Genesis dealership refuses to fix anything because the car doesn't bring back any error codes. This has happened to new and older G70s, there has also been numerous LEMON LAW buy packs under this exact LIMP mode issue being way more prevalent. I have gotten the supposed "fuel pump" recall which is what is directly affecting this issue and the problem persists. Genesis is aware of the issue and extended the dual pump warranty extensively. My car is extremely unsafe at random intervals during my daily commute. This issue is extremely dangerous and could cause a horrific crash. The car basically turns into a slug even when...

Dealer did not complete recall while in service Nov 15 2024, service order shows parts are on back order. After 2 months I reached out to Corp who reached out to dealer. Both copr and the dealer ended up calling back just yesterday, however the message from copr stated the part is ordered it's way but the message from the dealer stated software upgrade needs to be done first before ordering parts. But why software upgrade was never done 2 months ago while performing service? I can smell excess gasoline 5 mins after remote started and my thermometer temp spikes significantly upon start. Car has only 12k miles. I am afraid car is going to burn down and they will do everything possible to avoid repair/replacement. I'm hoping this would create a record of historical events as well as poor service performance by the dealer.
