Defect: THE INTERAXLE DRIVELINE U-JOINTS MAY FAIL AT LOW MILEAGE DUE TO A LACK OF LUBRICATION IN THE U-JOINT DURING THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS.
Consequence: THE DRIVELINE COULD SEPARATE WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING WHICHCOULD RESULT IN VEHICLE DAMAGE TO TRUCKS, NEARBY VEHICLES, AND INJURY TO ANYONEIN THE AREA WHEN DRIVELINE SEPARATION OCCURS.
Remedy: REMOVE AND REPLACE THE INTERAXLE U-JOINTS.
