Defect: THE STEERING GEAR MOUNTING BRACKET WELDS MAY CRACK UNDER CERTAIN STEERING LOAD CONDITIONS.
Consequence: STEERING CONTROL WOULD BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED WITHPOTENTIAL FOR LOSS OF TRUCK CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy: REPLACE STEERING GEAR MOUNTING BRACKET WITH A REDESIGNED BRACKET.
