The contact owns a 2018 Forest River Vengeance equipped with LionsheadHotline QCF Tires, Tire Line: Castle Rock, Tire Size: 225/75/R15, DOT Number: (Not Provided). The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the passenger’s side rear tire experienced a blowout. The blowout caused severe damages to the underside of the camper, the wheel well, and the outside fender. The contact replaced the tire with the spare tire. The contact then drove the trailer to a family member's home for repair. The tire was not replaced. The failure mileage was not available.
I EXPERIENCED A TIRE BLOWOUT WITH TWO DIFFERENT TIRES WITHIN A FOUR DAY SPAN. THE TIRES APPEARED TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE AND I REGULARLY INSPECTED THEM. THEY HAD PROPER AIR PRESSURE PRIOR TO MY TRIP. I KEEP THEM COVERED WHENEVER THE CAMPER IS NOT IN USE. THE TIRE BRAND IS CASTLE ROCK AND I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL EXAMPLES OF SIMILAR EVENTS HAPPENING TO OTHER PEOPLE.*DT CONSUMER STATED HE ONLY HAD 3300 MILES ON THE FIRST TIRE AND 4000 MILES ON THE SECOND. MANUFACTURER STATED TIRES ONLY HAD ONE YEAR WARRANTY.*JB
