Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2014 Crusader fifth wheel trailers, model CSF315RST, manufactured September 26, 2013, through March 3, 2014. In the affected trailers, the slide room actuator bracket may come into contact with the tire under certain road conditions.
Consequence: If the bracket comes in contact with the tire, sudden tire failure may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a replacement bracket that will adequately clear the tire, free of charge. The recall began on April 17, 2014. Owners may contact Forest River at 1-574-862-3001.

WHILE GOING DOWN NY THRU WAY AT 65MPH MY POWER KING STX TIRE EXPLODED AND BLEW OFF THE WHEELWELL AND FLARE TO THE TUNE OF $1400.00 NOT INCLUDING THE TIRE. THIS TIRE HAD LESS THEN 1000 MILES AND WAS 1 YEAR OLD. MY INSURANCE ADJUSTER SHOWED ME ANOTHER POWER KING TIRE THAT BLEW APART THE SAME WAY 2 WEEKS AGO. CLEARLY THIS TIRE IS NOT ADEQUATE FOR THE TRAILER THEY WERE INSTALLED ON FROM THE DEALER.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPARE TIRE BECAME LOOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REMOVED THE ENTIRE RIVER BRACKET. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200. UPDATED 06/15/16*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE SPARE TIRE WAS MOUNTED BELOW THE BACK BUMPER AND IT WOULD HIT THE GROUND WHILE DRIVING. POWER KING TOWMAX ST 235-80-R16. DOT 83B5 GPB DATE CODE 0313 WHILE DRIVING 62 MPH 90 MILES FROM HOME TIRE EXPLODED CAUSING RV WHEEL WELL DAMAGE THIS WAS THE 2ND TIRE IN 2 TRIPS. TIRES WERE INSPECTED BEFORE TRIP AND PRESSURE SET TO 80 PSI. REMAINING TIRES STILL LOOK NEW BUT WILL BE REPLACED BECAUSE I CANNOT TRUST THE POWER KING TIRES. THE RV MANUFACTURER IS UNRESPONSIVE TO TIRE PROBLEMS. I THINK THE NHTSA SHOULD LOOK INTO THE ST RADIAL PROBLEM ESPECIALLY THE ONES MADE IN CHINA.
