TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD TRANSIT. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING, EXHAUST FUMES WERE PRESENT INSIDE THE VEHICLE CABIN. IN ADDITION, THE REAR FLOOR WAS VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VELDE FORD (2200 N. 8TH ST, PEKIN, IL) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO A SHORTENED EXHAUST PIPE; HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO REMEDY AVAILABLE FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
