Blown 2.3 Ecoboost. At approx 4700 miles while driving got an engine light and severe misfire. Report from Ford technician says that part of a spark plug broke off in #4 cylinder and caused severe damage. Motor (long block) and turbo replaced under warranty and after 700 miles is running fine.

I purchased a new 2024 Mustang GT. Shortly after I experiences a dead throttle. The car would coast to a near stop and pushing the gas pedal multiple times had no effect. This has happen more than 4 times now. It was taken into the dealership twice. The first time the car was kept for a week and returned with no problem found. The second time is was returned more quickly again with no problem found. With what was asked I don't think I was taken seriously. I drive in areas with poor visibility due to hills and curves and only single lane roads without usable shoulders. Twice it happened in middle of one of these roads and I was at a near stop in middle of the roadway. I was nearly rear ended my a truck traveling at high speed twice with nowhere or no way to move. Another...

The contact owns a 2024 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power. The contact was able to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway, where the vehicle was able to restart. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was not available.

2024 Ford Mustang Ecoboost, Purchased New, Under 6,000 miles, check engine light came on. Vehicle was entering freeway and immediately had a loss of power. When taken to dealer, they stated that it was a cylinder 2 misfire, 2 weeks later they said I needed a new engine. The safety of myself and others were at risk because my vehicle lost power on the highway and immediately started shaking and making noise while operating at road posted speeds. This is not a first time occurance, I have the same model vehicle that I purchased in 2015 that did the exact same thing, only before 90k miles. There is a common element and I've heard other vehicle owners that have this same vehicle complaining of the same problem. They call it "Ecoboom" and Ford seems to be ignoring the problem.

• Std Cruise Control failure. Yes, available for inspection, test drive and failure analysis. • Upon turning CC (Cruise control) on the Green Icon appears (should be Ghost Icon) AND is set at the speed limit. If below the speed limit NO speed up to "SET" speed occurs. Instead if you speed up, manually, to "SET" speed you can't go past the "SET" speed. Pressing on the accelerator has a power loss and flat lining. Speed does not increase until you go to heavy open throttle then it "TAKES OFF". Impossible to drive in Cruise control mode. • Problem was presented to Gaudin Ford Dealership >>> Twice. Once on December 17th, 2024 and again on March 4th, 2025 Gaudio Ford States " NPF - No problem found normal operation at this time". Also, "unable to duplicate concern no DTC were present no tabs or scams for this concern rise with...

I was driving home from work at approximately 65mph when my transmission shifted and slammed back into gear. I stopped in a safe location, cut the car off and then back on, but the transmission is still slipping. The dealership was notified of powertrain, electrical, and oil consumption issues at three different service appointments, but the manufacturer has been no help at all. Had I not known what to do, this could have been a completely different scenario.

From a stop at a traffic light on [XXX], I made a right turn from [XXX] onto [XXX] in Greensboro NC, and after turning, the car did not respond when I pressed on the accelerator so as to go with the traffic. Instead, the car gradually slowed down. Before the car rolled to a stop in the middle of the road, the engine caught on and the car speeded up normally. The risk is that I would become stopped in the middle of a busy road and that someone rear end into me. If this problem were to occur as I was entering onto an interstate highway, where traffic routinely moves along at 70 mph and more, it would not be good. I took my car to Green Ford, the local dealership, on July 9, 2024. They found a defective battery (which was replaced under the car's warranty), and the...
