TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD F550. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE CLUTCH LOCKS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FLOOR WHEN IT IS ENGAGED. THE FAILURE PREVENTS THE CONTACT FROM SWITCHING GEARS AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO ACCELERATE. IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE FROM ACCELERATING, HE MUST MANUALLY FORCE THE VEHICLE TO SWITCH GEARS. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES, BUT THE FAILURE STILL PERSISTS. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50,084 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
