TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F450. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH HE TRIED APPLY THE BRAKES AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLIDE TO THE LEFT AND HE ALMOST HIT A FEW VEHICLES. THE DRIVER STATED THAT HIS FRONT TIRES LOCKED UP. HE CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS DUE TO LOW VOLTAGE. THE DEALER THEN REPLACED HIS ALTERNATOR FOR $500.00. THE DRIVER STATED THAT THERE WAS ALSO SMOKE COMING FROM THE TIRES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 76,000.
