WENT OUT CAMPING. WENT DRIVING DOWN ROAD AND TRUCK SHUT DOWN. HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE BRING US AN ALTERNATOR BECAUSE THE CLOSET PLACE TO GET ONE WAS IN MINNESOTA. WE LIVE IN UTAH.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD F-350 SD. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE TECHNICIAN PERFORMED REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLE, BUT THE CONTACT WAS NOT AWARE OF THE REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE ALSO RAN OUT OF FUEL BECAUSE THE FUEL GAUGE PROVIDED AN INACCURATE READING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,050.
