TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE ACTIVATED THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS DURING SNOWY CONDITIONS AND THE WIPERS LEFT SNOWY STREAKS ACROSS THE WINDSHIELD. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED DURING THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADES WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
