TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD ESCAPE HYBRID. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DUE TO REAR WHEEL NOISES. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRAME WAS TOTALLY RUSTED AND COULD ONLY BE REPAIRED BY REBUILDING THE ENTIRE FRAME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL; THEREFORE, NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 206,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
