5 complaints have been filed with NHTSA for the 2017 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER. Below is a breakdown by vehicle component.

Most Recent Complaints

Dash Cluster Short. Replaced due to safety concerns by independent repair shop. Warning light for brake boost (transmission brake) came on with motor running which also told ecm that the parking brake was engaged. This left the possibility of slides and or leveling legs to activate since the motor had to be running and parking brake set to activate the slides and the leveling legs. After replacing the whole dash cluster the check engine light came on. The code indicated that three cylinders were miss firing. Took MH back to the same auto shop and after 40 hours of checking everything that could possibly cause a misfire they could not get codes to clear. The MH was road tested after each component was verified working properly but would still throw same code. Tech determined that the issue then was in the ecm itself. After purchasing special software to access ecm program could not read file. Tech then called Ford Motor Tech Dept asking for a program file for this motor which is a Ford V10 and was told that they did not have a program file for this vehicle. So now if I drive the MH I will not get new warnings if something else goes wrong as the check engine light is already on.

Unknown - Discovered that interior motor cowling was loose and missing fasteners to hold cowling in place. Also it was missing any rubber gasket to keep any engine fumes from entering the interior. Since the cowling was loose and not fastened, the interior was extremely noisy, i.e. 75 decibels.

THE EXHAUST FROM THE GENERATOR IS UNDER THE BEDROOM SLIDE-OUT AND I AM CONCERNED ABOUT RUNNING THE GENERATOR WHILE SLEEPING. I ASK FLEETWOOD ABOUT MOVING THE EXHAUST TO THE BACK OR TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COACH AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS WOULD VOID THE WARRANTY. THE UNITE WAS STATIONARY. *TT VIN IS INVALID UPDATED 9/4/18*JB
