2001 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER MOTORHOME WITH SPEED CONTROL RECALL. CONSUMER STATES THAT THE DEALER UNPLUGGED THE SPEED CONTROL SWITCH. HE WAS TOLD PARTS WOULD BE IN, IN JANUARY. HE WAS INFORMED IN MARCH PARTS STILL WEREN'T AVAILABLE. *KB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER RV. HE RECEIVED A FORD RECALL NOTICE FOR THE VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. NONE OF THE DEALERS IN THE AREA HAVE THE PART. HE SPOKE WITH A DEALER TODAY AND THEY ADVISED HIM THAT WHEN EVER THEY ORDER THE PARTS FORD CONTINUALLY STATED THAT THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER DIDN'T GIVE HIM A DATE OF AVAILABILITY. THE RV DOES NOT HAVE ANTILOCK BRAKES OR AN ENGINE SIZE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 31,000. THERE ARE NO FAILURES AT THIS TIME. UPDATED 01-29-08. *KB
