Defect: EXECUTIVE COACH IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 LINCOLN TOWN CAR LIMOUSINES AND MODEL YEAR 2009 AND 2011 FORD BUS 550 VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH SURE POWER BATTERY SEPARATOR DEVICES, DUE TO OVERHEATING.
Consequence: OVERHEATING OF THE BATTERY SEPARATOR CAN RESULT IN SMOKE AND POSSIBLE FIRE.
Remedy: EXECUTIVE COACH WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE BATTERY SEPARATORS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 14, 2012. OWNERS MAY CONTACT EXECUTIVE COACH AT 888-322-9272.
