Defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. Defect: DUTCHMEN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2006-2007 GRAND JUNCTION FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILERS MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 27, 2006 THROUGH MAY 2, 2006, AND EQUIPPED WITH LIPPERT AXLES COMPONENTS. THESE VEHICLES MAY CONTAIN MIS-LOCATED WELDS ATTACHING THE AXLE SPINDLE TO THE AXLE TUBE. IF THE WELDS ARE MIS-LOCATED, THE SPINDLE MAY PARTIALLY OR COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THE AXLE TUBE AND THE...
Consequence: A SEPARATED TIRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY COULD STRIKE OTHER VEHICLES AND/OR PEDESTRIANS, RISKING INJURY OR DEATH, AND/OR CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE PROPERTY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DUTCHMEN GRAND JUNCTION TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE REAR PASSENGER WHEEL DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE REAR AXLE WAS COMPLETELY FRACTURED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V410000 (POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY) AND CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER SENT REPAIR PARTS TO THE CONTACT, WHO PERFORMED THE REPAIRS INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR LATER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
