I OWN A 1997 DODGE RAM 1500 4X4 EXTENDED CAB. MY DASH BOARD IS CRACKED IN THE CENTER FROM TOP OF RADIO TO THE BASE OF THE WINDSHIELD. DON'T KNOW WHY IT CRACKED IT JUST APPERED. *NM
I HAVE THREE CRACKS IN THE UPPER PART OF MY DASH IN MY 1997 DODGE RAM 1500. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH 1994-2001 DODGE RAM TRUCKS. *NM
CRACKED DASH ON 97 DODGE RAM 1500,TOLD THAT IT COULD CAUSE AIRBAG DAMAGE--STARTED CRACKING AFTER A YEAR OR SO AND JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE. *NM
DODGE RAM WITH 65,000 MILES DASH HAS SPIT IN SEVERAL PLACES THIS IS UNCALLED FOR ON A 20,000 DOLLAR TRUCK. THERE WAS A MALFUCTION IN THE PRODUCTION OF THESE DASHES AND CHRYLSLER SHOULD MAKE THEM GOOD. I TOOK IT TO THE CHRYLSLER COMPANY THAT I PURCHESED IT FROM, AND THEY SAID IT WOULD COST ME AROUND 200 DOLLARS. ITS ALSO A SAFETY HAZZARD, I HOPE NO ONE GETS CUT FROM THE SHARP EDGES.*AK
MY DASH IS CRACKING ALL OVER AROUND VIN NUMBER FROM THE DEFROST VENTS. I KEEP MY TRUCK IN THE GARAGE AND IN THE LAST 2 YEARS IT HAS CRACKED MORE AND MORE AND FOR TWO YRS I HAVE NOT DRIVEN IT MORE THAN 1 THOUSAND MILES CAUSE I AM NOT HOME TO DRIVE IT. ALSO THE COLUMN ON THE SIDES OF THE WINDSHIELD I CAN NOT SEE AROUND THEM I HAVE ALMOST HIT SEVERAL PEOPLE AND CARS THIS IS A BLIND SPOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS BECAUSE OF THE SEAT AND WEAR I SIT I THINK THIS COLUMN IS TO FAT AND OBSTRUCTS MY VIEW. *JB
