TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE NITRO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS REMAINED BRIGHT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS OFF THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY A WIRING ERROR IN THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT IT WAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 61,500.
