THE MOUNTING BOLT/STUD FOR THE DYNAMIC TENSIONER BROKE, CAUSING LOSS OF SERPENTINE BELT DRIVEN ACCESSORIES INCLUDING THE POWER STEERING PUMP, ALTERNATOR, AND WATER PUMP. THE FAILED TENSIONER WAS A DEALER-INSTALLED WARRANTY REPLACEMENT OF AN OEM PART; THE OEM PART WAS REPLACED DUE TO EXCESSIVE BELT NOISE ON 5/25/93 WITH 25,915 MILES ON THE ODOMETER.
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE WOULD LOSE ALL POWER; THERE'S NO STEERING; NO BRAKING; ENGINE STALLS; TRANSMISSION DOES NOT WORK; WOULD HAPPEN AT VARIOUS SPEEDS; SOMETIMES NOT STARTING AT ALL. *AK
