2019 DODGE CHALLENGER Fuelpropulsion System Problems

On my way to work on 9/28/23 my 2019 dodge challenger hellcat Redeye engine just shut off at 65mph. I was in the left lane by the wall on I45 heading northbound. I instantly had a loss of power steering and braking. The engine just shut off. A check engine light came on and the dash said shift I to park to start. I was successfully able to get across 4 lanes of traffic to stop on the apron between o ram and side of freeway. When I shifted to park and to try to restart it would not start. Had to be towed to dealership where upon inspection they said the motor was locked. When broken down a valve just dropped into the cylinder and jammed into the piston and cylinder wall. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS APPLIED THE CONTACT'S NEIGHBOR NOTICED THAT VEHICLE HAD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR MUFFLER. VEHICLE'S EXHAUST AFFECTED BY THE RATTLE. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO THE DESTINATION. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED RIVERSIDE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM LOCATED AT (1601 US-70, NEW BERN, NC 28560 252-633-4411) WAS CONTACTED AND AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED BUTTERFLY ACUATOR VALVE FAILED. RATTLE CAN BE HEARD BUT HEARD IN REGULAR NOT SPORT MODE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 45,500. *BF*JB
