The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that at the time of purchase he noticed that the driver’s side front window failed to close securely in the window seal. The contact attempted to manually place the window into the seal but was unable to fix the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 138,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 DODGE CHALLENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WAS FUNCTIONING INDEPENDENTLY AND CAUSED THE BATTERY TO DRAIN. THE WINDOW HAD TO BE CRACKED IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE ENERGIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MOTOR IN THE WINDOW NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
