A FIRESTONE STEELTEX RADIAL R4S LT225/75 R16 TIRE MOUNTED ON THE LEFT REAR OF A DODGE 1990 B350 VAN HAD A COMPLETE TREAD SEPARATION AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THE TREAD CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE EXHAUST TAIL PIPE, BUT FORTUNATELY THE TIRE DID NOT DEFLATE SO THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO A SAFE STOP. *NM
