Recall 02V098002 — VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL
Defect: ON CERTAIN VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH TELEFLEX MORSE ELECTRIC FLOOR PEDALS. UNDER HEAVY USE, ONE OF THE PEDAL DUAL RETURN-SPRING ARMS ON THE FLOOR-MOUNTED ELECTRIC PEDALS MAY FAIL. A FAILURE COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE UNEXPECTEDLY.
Consequence: UNEXPECTED ACCELERATION COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
