EVEN WHEN I HAVE MY CAR OFF WITHOUT MY KEY IN THE IGNITION I CAN SHIFT THE VEHICLE BETWEEN EVERY DIFFERENT GEAR. IF I'M ON A HILL OR IN A PARKING LOT WITHOUT EVEN HAVING MY CAR RUNNING OR HAVING THE KEY IN THE IGNITION OF MY VEHICLE I CAN GO FROM PARK NEUTRAL DRIVE REVERSE.

I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE.THE 1ST.DEALER(SOUTHERN CHRYSLER IN LUFKIN TX) I TOOK IT TO COULD NOT FIX IT.THE 2ND.DEALER AND WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS ORIGINALY PURCHASED(MIKE PERRY MOTOR CO.)SAID THEY COULD FIX IT, BUT AT A COST OF $370.00.SINCE I HAVE NEVER TAMPERED WITH IT IN ANYWAY AND MOST IMPORTANT IS THAT IT IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE,I BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE FIXED BY THE DEALER AND AT NO COST TO ME. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED IN SUMMARY. *AK
