The contact owns a 2020 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle, the contact later discovered that the front passenger’s side curtain air bag had erroneously deployed. The contact stated that there was no collision or visible damage to the vehicle to cause the air bag to deploy. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 72,000.
#11607180 | AIR BAGS | | N/A miles
Drivers airbag bursted when I wasn’t in my car, and the passenger airbag has a hole in it.
#11521184 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | | N/A miles
The vehicle's LCD screen has become delaminated which causes the control of the radio, air conditioning, navigation, and other features controlled by the "radio" portion of the car to become dysfunctional. The car will randomly beep, change air temperatures, start navigation, cause the loss of hands-free communication. This is a safety hazard as it causes the driver to be distracted in order to attend to the incessant beeping and issues related to AC/heat, navigation or radio (volume, etc.). This appears from Chrysler Forums to be an issue among a large group of Chrysler 300 Year Model 2018-2020 owners. I am encouraging them to file a concern with your group and to ask for a recall of the car for this reason.
#11514932 | AIR BAGS | | N/A miles Crash 2 Injuries
March 24th 2023 @ 1:58 pm I was sitting at a red light behind another car, when I was rear ended @ 40+ mph and pushed in to the car ahead of me. The air bags never deployed after colliding with the car in front of me causing my head to hit the steering wheel and the roof of my car. I was unconscious for 30 seconds. Pictures available upon request.
