LOW TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR IN DASH CAME ON, SO I WAS GOING TO CHECK TIRE PRESSURES. WHILE TAKING OFF PLASTIC VALVE STEM COVER, THE METAL VALVE STEM BLEW OFF, RELEASING ALL THE AIR IN FRONT TIRE. I TOOK IT TO THE CHRYSLER DEALER TO HAVE IT REPAIRED.( $170.00 ) THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE, WHERE IT CORRODED AROUND VALVE STEM CAP AND BLEW OFF. GOOD THING I WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY.
