WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY ON WAY TO WORK, THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT ASSEMBLY ABOVE THE REAR HATCH FLEW OFF INTO THE HIGHWAY. I STOPPED AND PICKED THE PART UP AND HAVE IT HOWEVER I'M LEFT WITH A BROKEN TRUCK. THE BRACKETS ON THE TRUCK THAT THE ASSEMBLY PLACE SNAPS INTO IS BROKEN AND WHEN THE ASSEMBLY PIECE FLEW OFF THE TRUCK THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT WIRE WAS SNAPPED INTO BY THE FORCE OF THE WIND. *TR
WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE REAR BRAKE LIGHT ACCESSORY FELL OFF MY 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER EXT. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. THERE WAS NO PRIOR INDICATION THAT THE PIECE WAS LOOSE. THE PIECE, FORTUNATELY, REMAINED ATTACHED TO THE VEHICLE WHILE SLAMMING AGAINST MY REAR WINDOW. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS VEHICLE IS NOT PROPERLY SECURING THE REAR BRAKE LIGHT PIECE AND ENDANGERING MY FAMILY AS WELL AS OTHER MOTORISTS. WHEN I TRIED TO RECTIFY WITH THE DEALERSHIPS SERVICE SHOP, THEY CLAIMED THAT ICE CAN CAUSE THIS PROBLEM, CITING THAT THEY HAD SEEN THIS HAPPEN A COUPLE OF TIMES PRIOR, AND REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR CORRECTING THE PROBLEM, CLAIMING THAT IT WAS DUE TO AN ACT OF NATURE AND PERHAPS I COULD FILE A CLAIM WITH MY AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE PROVIDER. *TR
