THE ENGINE WITHOUT WARNING QUITS/DIES/SHUTS OFF THEREBY CAUSING THE LOSE OF STEERING AND BRAKING. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN AND OUT OF AUTHORIZED CHEVY DEALR JIM STUTZMAN CHEVROLET IN WINCHESTER VIRGINIA SINCE OCTOBER OF 1999. ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE HAD THEIR MECHANIC TEST DRIVE IT AND HE HAS EXPERIANCED THE PROBLEM WHEN THEY HOOK IT UP TO THE COMPUTER "IT" SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THEM THAT I NEVER SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A CHEVY DIESEL AND "WHAT DO I WANT TO DO HOW MUCH MONEY DO I WANT TO SPEND AND THEY WILL JUST START CHANGE OUT PARTS " I AM IN FEAR OF MY LIFE EVERY TIME I GET BEHIND THE WHEEL.
