DEFECTIVE SPINDLE RODS CAUSED PREMATURE AND EXCESSIVE TIRE WEAR. ALL FOUR TIRES ARE WORN BALD ON THE OUTER EDGE OF EACH TIRE. I HAVE ALWAYS ROTATED THE TIRES FAITHFULLY EVERY 6,000 MILES. PURCHASED THE 2008 CHEV. IMPALA NEW. I UNDERSTAND THAT GM HAS REPLACED THE DEFECTIVE SPINDLE RODS ON LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHS; BUT GM REFUSES TO FIX THE PROBLEM ON PUBLIC VEHS. UNDER WARRANTY. I AM ASKING THE NHTSA FOR HELP. THANK YOU. *TR
