PROBLEM BEGAN WITH "CLUNKING"NOISE AND RATTLE IN STEERING COLUMN WHICH BECAME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. TOOK TO DEALER, AND THEY REPLACED THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT WITH THE NOTE ON THE REPAIR ORDER"LACK OF LUBE IN SPLINES". COST $204.01. THIS IS A 2005 CHEVROLET SILVERADO PICK-UP TRUCK WITH 57,000 MILES; IS THAT THE BEST THEY CAN BUILD THEM? *TR
I HAVE HAD THE STEERING REPLACED 3 TIMES ON MY TRUCK. AND IT IS STILL MESSED UP. *TR
