THE DOOR PINS ARE FAULTY ON THESE TRUCKS AND BLAZERS AND MY DOOR DOES NOT SHUT SOMETIMES BECAUSE OF IT AND IT FLEW OPEN ON A TURN ALMOST CAUSING ME TO FLY OUT TOO. I WENT AND BOUGHT THE PART THAT WEEKEND BUT THEY SHOULD BE RECALLED THIS IS DANGEROUS! *TR
ON THE 2003 CHEVY S-10 PICK UP TRUCK, THE DOOR HANDLE FOR THE THIRD DOOR WHICH LEADS TO THE REAR COMPARTMENT IS POORLY MADE. THIS HANDLE HAS BROKEN AT LEAST THREE TIMES SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. NOW I CAN NOT OPEN THE THIRD DOOR. IT SEEMS WHATEVER PART OF THE MECHANISM IS USED TO OPEN THE DOOR, IT IS MADE OF PLASTIC AND IT BREAKS AFTER LITTLE USE. *TR
2003 CHEVY ZR 2 TRUCK HAS A 3RDOOR. THE DOOR HANDLE KEEPS BREAKING AND HAS TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS AN ADDED EXPENSE. IT IS BEING OPENED UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES. IT SHOULD NOT KEEP BREAKING. ALSO TWO OF MY FRIENDS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THEIR TRUCKS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 CHEVROLET S10. THE HANDLE FOR THE THIRD DOOR SNAPPED AND FAILED WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE DOOR. AS A RESULT, THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 36,650. UPDATED 03/05/08.*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE PART WAS REPLACED BY HIM AT THE COST OF $27.50 PLUS TAX. UPDATED 03/04/08 *TR
THIRD DOOR HANDLE KEEPS BREAKING. LUCKY NOT IN AN EMERGENCY. REPLACED 4 TIMES IN 3 YEARS. *NM
THE VEHICLE'S DOOR SEPARATED FROM THE FRAME WHICH CAUSED AIR TO SEEP THROUGH. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *AK
