OWN 1980 CHEVE PICKUP W/DUAL FUEL TANKS. FUEL TANKS ARE LOCATED OUTSIDE THE FRAME STRUCTURE. A IMPACT ON EITHER SIDE OF THE PICK UP COULD CAUSE SERIOUS HARM OR EVEN DEATH TO THE PICKUP OCCUPANTS AND THE OTHER VEHICLE OCCUPANTS. THIS IS A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW MADE BY THE MANUFACTURER. I AM ASKING THE NHTSA TO ASSIST ME IN LOCATING MORE INFORMATION OR OTHER RELATED CLAIMS MADE BY OTHER OWNERS. YOU ASSISTANCE IS APPRECIATED AND WELCOMED.
