TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 CHEVROLET MALIBU. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED EVERYTIME IT WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE SHUT OFF AND THEN RESTARTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE BEGAN AROUND MAY OF 2017. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STARTER FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 8-3961924193. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
