2023 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Suspension Problems

Shortly after purchasing the vehicle at the local Carson City,NV CHEVROLET dealer on 5/18/2025 my passenger started to hear a muffled “thumping noise” from the right front foot well? I am a disabled veteran USAF pilot with hearing loss and did not immediately hear it. The car had 29,129 miles on it when purchased and was a “certified vehicle” with some remaining original warranty as well as an extended warranty given its great condition(I was told!) After a few hundred miles of driving the sound became much louder and VERY noticeable when even on rough roads I discovered when removing the “frunk” trim to investigate a weak battery up front that an aluminum upper suspension right front shock mount was only being retained by a single bolt of the FOUR designed to secure it!
