At 85,000 miles the timing chain triggered the check engine light to come on. At 100,037 miles the engine was burning oil. Three mechanics confirmed that the engine needed to be replaced. An estimated cost of $8,000 - $12,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND AN ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,775.
