CAR STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WHILE DRIVING. THERE WAS NO WARNING, HARD START ETC. JUST STOPPED. TOOK THE CAR TO THE SHOP AND WAS TOLD IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP. THE CAR HAS 66000 MILES AND I PURCHASED IT USED. THE TOTAL COST WAS $800 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE FUEL PUMP ITSELF COST $489. *TR
SINCE PURCHASING THE 2001 CHEVROLET CAVALIER, LET ME TELL YOU, IT HAS TRULY BEEN LIKE A ROCK THROWN IN THE WATER. LESS THAN 3000 MILES ON THE CAR AND I HAD TO BRING THE CAR IN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS DEFECTIVE. THE CAR ALMOST DIED ON ME ON THE ROAD WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN ACROSS TWO LANES OF TRAFFIC. I WAS LATE FOR WORK, AND I WAS STUCK IN THE WAL-MART PARKING LOT FOR FOUR HOURS. I FINALLY GOT OVER THAT. OF COURSE, I DIDN'T TAKE OUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, WHICH IF I HAD KNOWN THAT WHEN I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE THAT I WAS GETTING A LEMON, I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE BEEN A TRUE SOUR PUSS AND BOUGHT A FORD. RECENTLY I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL, NOT ONLY DOES IT NOT GET GOOD GAS MILEAGE THAT IT SHOULD, I WAS RECENTLY...
