As a result, water had leaking into the battery compartment which had caused the vehicle to shut off while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the defect was confirmed, and the contact was provided an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
