ALL DASH DISPLAYS LIGHT BRIEFLY 5-TIMES IN 1-WEEK. THEN, ALL ELECTRICAL FAILED AND BATTERY CABLES WERE BURNING.*AK
WHILE TRAVELING ON I-275 @75MPH, I LOST ALL LIGHTS BOTH EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR. THIS WAS THE 9TH ELECTRICAL PROBLEM WITH MY BLAZER SINCE PURCHASING IT NEW IN OCT. 2001.*AK
CONSUMER STATES VEHICLE INTERIOR LIGHTS COME ON WITHOUT TURNING SWITCH ON. DASH INDICATION IS VERY HOT TO TOUCH. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK

BRAKE LIGHTS WILL NOT WORK WHEN APPLYING BRAKES. BULBS AND FUSES ARE ALL OK, HAZARD FLASHER WHEN FLASHING CAUSES AN ELECTRICAL STATIC SOUND UNDER DASH AND WHEN WIGGLING THE HAZARD FLASHER SWITCH, BRAKE LIGHTS WILL WORK AND COME ON. I ALSO OWN A 1996 CHEVROLET BLAZER THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND WAS REPAIRED AT BOB HOOK CHEVROLET 09/07/99 INVOICE NO. 156312. VERY LITTLE CHANCE THAT I OWN TWO OF THE SAME VEHICLES FIVE YEARS APART AND SAME DEFECT HAPPENS TO BOTH. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE RECALLED BEFORE ACCIDENTS OCCUR BECAUSE THE VEHICLE BEHIND DIDN'T SEE VEHICLE IN FRONT STOP. I AM NOT ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT MY FAMILY BEING SAFE BUT FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS! WHY WOULD THE DEALER SERVICE SHOP TELL ME THAT THE PART WILL HAVE TO BE ORDERED AND THERE IS A NATIONAL BACK ORDER ON THAT PART BUT TO...
DURING OPERATION OF VEHICLE, AND UPON APPLYING BRAKES, VEHICLE WAS REAR-ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH. DRIVER WAS TEMPORARILY KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS AND EXAMINED BY MEDICAL PERSONNEL. WHEN DEALERSHIP EXAMINED VEHICLE IT WAS DETERMINED THE CLUSTER MODULE FAILED, PREVENTING BRAKE LIGHTS FROM ACTIVATING. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / DOCUMENTATION.*AK

DEALER IS INSPECTING VEHICLE.*AK TURN SIGNALS AND BRAKE LIGHTS INOPERABLE DUE TO BLOWN FUSES AND OPEN CIRCUIT IN TURN SIGNAL SWITCH, DEALER REPLACED FUSE AND TURN SIGNAL SWITCH AND BRAKE LIGHTS, THEN THERE WERE NO HAZARD OR LEFT TURN SIGNAL, FOUND FUSES HAD BLOWN AGAIN, FOUND A SHORT TO GROUND DUE TO IMPROPER POSITION OF HARNESS BEHIND CLUSTER CONNECTOR, ALSO SHORTED OUT NEW SWITCH WHICH WAS REPLACED. *SLC
