2022 CADILLAC ESCALADE Electrical Systemstarter Assembly Problems

The contact owns a 2022 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the engine shut off without warning. Despite the failure, the engine restarted immediately after the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions; however, the dealer failed to duplicate the failure. The failure persisted, and the contact had the vehicle towed back to the dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact waited two months for parts since the parts were on backorder. After the engine was replaced, the contact stated that vehicle started to hesitate while depressing the accelerator pedal with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the contact was informed that the starter needed to be replaced.
