TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC ESCALADE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER BLEW HOT AIR, THE TRANSMISSION OVERHEATED AND HESITATED, AND A BANGING NOISE WAS HEARD UNDERNEATH THE CENTER OF THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CRESTMONT CADILLAC (26000 CHAGRIN BLVD, BEACHWOOD, OH 44122, (216) 831-5300) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR COMPRESSOR HAD A HOLE IN THE TUBE, WHICH CAUSED A FREON LEAK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED BECAUSE GM WAS ON STRIKE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 72,133.
