TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CADILLAC DEVILLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KEY COULD BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH WHILE DRIVING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 14V355000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) BUT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 173,000.
