Defect: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V vehicles manufactured between September 6, 2003, and June 11, 2007, currently registered, or originally sold, in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia. Consequence: Corrosion may cause the brake system to leak which could lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.

JUST PURCHASED CAR ON 8/29. CAR HAS SEVERAL SERIOUS DEFECTS MECHANIC CHECK.TRANSMISSION IS DRAGGING WHILE IN MOTION UPCLIMB. IM MOTION, VEHICLE SHAKES AND CAN NOT STEER. THERE ARE ALSO SEVERAL OPEN RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE THAT I WAS NOT AWARE OF AT TIME OF PURCHASE.

PASSENGER AIRBAG OCCUPANT SENSOR/MODULE IS FAULTY. AFTER A WHILE, THE MAT KINKS, BENDS, OR FOLDS. DUE TO THIS IT LOSES CONNECTION AND TRIGGERS A "SERVICE AIRBAG SOON", DISABLING THE AIRBAG SYSTEM UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. THIS IS THE SAME PROBLEM AS IN NHTSA RECALL #10V644000, BUT FOR SOME REASON MY CAR IS NOT COVERED. IT REQUIRES REPLACEMENT WITH THE SAME GM PART NUMBER (19124390).
