All Equipment Complaints
I PURCHASED A GM MANUFACTURED BUICK RENDEZVOUS IN AUGUST OF 2003. BEGINNING JUNE OF 2005 THE "ABS" AND "BRAKE" WARNING LIGHTS STARTED TO ACTIVATE SIMULTANEOUSLY ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. WHEN THIS OCCURS THE OWNER'S MANUAL INSTRUCTS YOU TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND TRY TO RESET THE ALARMS, IF THEY DO NOT RESET YOU ARE TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER TO BE SERVICED. WHEN I DID THIS THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART, THIS HAPPENED ON AT LEAST 6 OCCASIONS, 4 TIMES AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME THE VEHICLE WOULD RESTART. THE OTHER TWO TIMES I HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN THE SHOP FOUR TIMES FOR OVER 30 DAYS SINCE THE FIRST INCIDENT. THE IGNITION SWITCH HAS BEEN REPLACED AND THE BCM HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE, THIS HAS NOT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. ON THE FOURTH VISIT TO THE DEALER...
WHILE THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING HIS 2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS, LIGHTENING STRUCK THE ON STAR ANTENNA AND CAUSED COMPLETE ELECTRICAL FAILURE. *BF *NM
