CHROME WHEELS DELAMINATING CUTTING VALVE STEMS ON TWO OF THE FOUR WHEELS CAUSING AIR LEAKS. ALL FOUR WHEELS ARE DELAMINATING. VALVE STEMS HAVE BEEN REPLACED FOUR- FIVE TIMES. PROBLEM STILL PRESENT,CAUSING SAFETY HAZARD. *JB
2000 BUICK REGAL GS HAS DEFECTIVE TIRE EQUIPMENT. ***NO ANSWER REQUIRED***. *MR THE LOW TIRE LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE VEHICLE 8 TIMES. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS THE DEALER HAD TO REINFLATED THE TIRES. THEY ALSO REPLACED TIRE CAPS AND VALVE STEMS. FINALLY ONCE THE WHEEL WAS REPLACED THE PROBLEM NO LONGER OCCURRED. *NM

MY MAJOR CONCERN IS WHEN I WENT TO REPLACE MY TIRES TODAY GOODYEAR LS EAGLES I WAS TOLD THE TIE RODS WERE WORN SO BADLY THAT THEY COULD NOT DO IT WITHOUT REPLACING THEM TO ALIGN THE CAR PROPERLY. THERE HAD BEEN A NOISE IN THE FRONT OF THE CAR SINCE THE DAY ONE THAT I THOUGHT WAS NORMAL TIRE NOISE, BASED ON MY YEARS OF DRIVING (37 WITHOUT INCIDENT) IT SEEMS WORN TIE RODS AT 31,000 MILES IS SOMETHING TO CONSIDER INVESTIGATING. MY DRIVING IS LOCAL 90% OF THE TIME, 7 MILES EACH WAY TO WORK, 5 DAYS A WEEK. ONCE A MONTH A TRIP TO BOSTON. I TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPORT THE OTHER LITTLE INCIDENTAL PROBLEMS THAT DO NOT HAVE AN IMMEDIATE EFFECT ON MY SAFETY, THE EXCEPTION BEING THE AIR BAG LIGHT COMING ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY.
