WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE ENGINE JUST DROPPED OUT. VEHICLE JUST STOPPED SUDDENLY. CONTACTED TOW COMPANY & DRIVER INDICATED MOTOR MOUNTS BROKE. VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP & MECHANIC INDICATED THE "K" FRAME HAD SEPARATED. THIS CAUSED A LACK OF STEERING CONTROL. MOTOR MOUNTS WERE STILL INTACT.*AK

VEHICLE STARTED SMOKING IN A PARKING LOT, AND THEN THE VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED TO PUT OUT FIRE, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED HOME, NOT TOTALLED. ADJUSTER TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM. *AK

THE ENGINE WOULD STOP WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS FROM 10 TO 45 MPH ONCE IT WAS HOT. THE ENGINE COULD NOT BE RESTARTED FOR 10 TO 30 MINUTES. AFTER THE ENGINE STOPS RUNNING IT IS DIFFICULT TO STEER OR STOP THE VEHICLE. DEALER FOUND THE CRANKSHAFT TIMING PICKUP SENSOR FAILED WHEN IT BECAME HOT.
