All Power Traintransfer Case 4 Wheel Drive Complaints
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BMW X5. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SHOOK HARD WHENEVER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED AT ANY SPEED. THERE WAS ALSO A SLIGHT VIBRATION IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO BMW GLOBAL IMPORTS (500 INTERSTATE N PKWY, ATLANTA, GA 30339, (800) 294-1853) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT A NEW TRANSFER CASE NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 116,000.
